The team at Longwall Hydraulics has implemented a series of changes to our workplace procedures to comply to the latest Government Health Department advice. This includes strict adherence to social distancing rules, travel guidelines and following all the latest hygiene tips. Normal operating hours are being maintained and all staff are working, there is no reduction to our customer service.
To support our customers, we have invested in more conferencing capabilities to enable customer inspections to be conducted electronically, all equipment testing is being videoed and increased project updates are being made available for all customers unable to visit.
Our product and technical staff are still out with customers, subject to State and Territory travel restrictions. We are abiding by all customer site compliance rules, and we are accepting visitors to both our Mackay and Unanderra workshops but do ask all visits be planned.
Our supply chain is still operating as normal, however, there is delays to air freight frequency out of Europe. We keep significant inventories on hand in both Mackay and Unanderra, and have monthly stock orders planned for all high turning components, we envisage minimal impact over the coming 3 months. Additional stock orders have been placed for Kamat and Dynaset components in March and April to support our customer forecasted needs through to Christmas.
The safety and well-being of our staff, our customers and our supply chain partners is the most important thing, and we will continue to support all stakeholders through these very difficult times.
