LW Hydraulics are proud to announce the successful completion of another major pump station overhaul for one of our valued Queensland customers. This project involved a range of detailed re-builds, upgrades and tests, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
The overhaul began with a thorough inspection upon arrival, followed by the complete strip, clean and paint of all fabricated parts. We conducted non-destructive testing (NDT) to ensure that all components were free from defects. We also performed electrical upgrades, which included the installation of a new PLC enclosure, field device upgrades and the installation of a vibration analysis (VA) system for more accurate condition monitoring of the pumps and motors.
Additionally, all eight KAMAT pumps were overhauled and tested in-house to ensure they were operating at full capacity. The shearer water pumps were overhauled and were subjected to high-pressure differential testing, whilst also confirming the correct flow output @ 1000lpm.
Congratulations to our team for completing all works in a safe and timely manner. As this pump station leaves the workshop our team now focuses on executing another major overhaul for one of our valued NSW mining customers!
