We attended an event hosted by i3Net on Tuesday 25th of Feb at The Grange golf course function room.
The event was opened by Lord Mayor, Councillor Tania Brown. Wes Maas (MAAS Group Holdings) shared insights on the business as well as their Cleary Bros acquisition. Paddy Dowsett (MSubs) introduced their new Shoalhaven operations and key projects, while Mike Levin (Foton Mobility Distribution) provided updates on the proposed electric bus facility in Nowra.
Brendan Carter (LW Hydraulics - Business Development Manager), said Wes Mass' story was a clear highlight of his morning. "He had just cracked first grade NRL and decided to quickly pivot into starting a machine hire business. Starting with one machine, his business quickly grew into what is an ASX listed company today. An inspiring story!"
LW Hydraulics can see great potential in becoming a supplier for many of MASS Group's companies. Our range of dust suppression kits for mobile machinery could be utalised on their hire fleet and civil works sectors.
Thank you to i3Net once again for a fantasic morning, bringing industry leaders in to talk, connecting local business and allowing us a spoace to network. A membership we gain great value from.
